*ECCLESIASTES 3:11*

He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.

TRUE STORY

Yesterday, an Indonesian Church, known as Gereja Bethel Indonesia Chicago - USA, has an event for all Christian Community in Chi'Town (plus Wisconsin & Indiana). Beside the ceremon, there's Ari Wibowo, who came to visit a couple cities in USA and told us about how he became a good Christian now... you guys actually can check it out from his website www.ariwibowo.com where he puts everything about him.

Well, he was born with dual religions (dad moslem, mom christian) and his parents didn't give him a strong basic religion fondation for him (neither moslem & christian) hmmm you know what... I'm not gonna tell the story since you guys can check it out from his website ... d'oooh !!

The other thing I wanna add here... about the "Fahreinheit 9/11".. This is a documentary movie (like I said in my last posted)... and here Michael Moore interviewed some family who lost their sons/daughters, their husbands/wives, their brothers/sisters because of Iraq War which is everybody know that this war is just about Bush personal revenge. I'm kindda like this movie 'coz Michael Moore clearly showed, described & told us about Bush (and all his inner circle) avoided pursuing the Saudi connection to 9/11, despite the fact that 15 of the 19 hijackers were Saudis and Saudi money had funded Al Qaeda. Scary huh?!

Anyhoo.... hope the new election in USA (by this November) will give the best result for everybody....

SUMMER IN CHICAGO

This is my very 1st time spending the whole four months summer time in Chicago.. I used to travel somewhere in summer time... but unfortunatelly this summer I'll be stucked here... *sigh* but it's okey though... I'll enjoy it as much as possible...

This pictures taken 3 days ago... while I spent my time with some friends. We went hunting good spot all over Chi'Town... If you guys see the tallest building as my background, that's one of the tallest building in Chi'Town... and we call it "John Hancock Building".

As you know, we're in Chi'Town have a great lake, calls "LAKE MICHIGAN" (as you see thru this picture)... and since it such a big & large lake (even it goes thru Canada) some people here call it a beach ... so when people said "let's go to the beach", it means "let's go to the lake" ... hihihihi kasian yah !!! instead saying "lake" mendingan saying "beach" ... sounds cool huh?!

There so many events when summer comes to Chi'Town... you can check it out from metromix.com to find out what dahell is goin' on Chi'Town recently... last weekend I went to chicago summer dance festival as you see from my other picture here...

It was fun... they teached us how to dance in salsa, cha-cha-cha, marengue and all latino dances... well of course they aint make it in one day... so every day ... they'll teach different dances... it's outdoor and it's FREE !!! cool huh??? (of course don't compare all the events in NYC !! puhhleeess) ... and don't ask me why I wore jacket this summer, 'coz summer time in Chi'Town the wind is still chill .... you'd better ready for the unstable temperature *sigh*

huhmm summer time in Chi'Town??? not bad at all ... :=)

PS: BTW you guys MUST watch Fahrenheit 9/11... it such a great documentary movie I've ever watch.... the best!! damned Bush !! I'll discuss about this movie next time 'coz I'm kindda sleepy rite now... gotta go to bed... I've class 2morrow... nitey !!

HAPPY BDAY PAP !!!

20 June is my daddy's 60th bday... he's kindda old enough for 'a dad' but I bet he's still the coolest dad ever in this world...

long time ago, when I was in elementary school, he always helped me with my mathematic homeworks (even I've to cry out loud because he teached me like I knew everything about that such algebra thingy!) hihihihi ...

when I was in junior high, he always dropped foods if I went camping (while I bet he checked all my elder member and make sure that nuthin' bad will happened with me! hahaha!)

and times goes by... when I was in senior high, my dad was my very best dad ... he took my mom, me & my siblings go around the world two times every year... and he took us to see the world... and he said to me "caca... you should find your future husband that can take you to see the moon... 'coz I alrdy took you to see the world... " well... *sigh*

and I remember one day.. a guy asked me for a date, and when he picked me up, my dad said to him to drop me back home at 11PM (sedih amet ga sih?!!) ... anyhoo... we were had fun 'till suddenly that guy remembered he promised my dad to drop me back home at 11PM and it was 11PM and it'll take 30 mins to get me home... hahaha the guy was so scared to make my dad angry... and I was like "oh comeee onn!! " but the guy was like "ca!! I dont wanna drop you back home while you're dad waiting for me with a gun in his hand" (ceeezzz... my dad ain't look that bad!! )

as my sophomore year in university, I was so have-to-go-out-on-saturday-nite time.... my dad was like "what are you doing out there in the middle of the nite?" ... and I was like "I've to go out every saturday nite!!" oh come on... all my friends go out and got drunk that time... and you know what happened?? everytime I promised my dad to back home at 2 AM (which I always broke the rule) , my dad always wait for me in the living room.... hihihihi

now, since I live far far faaaaaaaar away from him... I'm kindda miss the old time, my dad has a very sensitive feeling about me... I don't know how but he always know if something happened with me... my mom (and my siblings) always said that I'm my daddy's darling ... hahaha and I was like ... "no i'm not !!" he angry with me when I did bad things ... and of course I'm hardly try not to break my dad's heart... *woo hooo*

he wants me to finish my school on time... I PROMISE DAD !!! and he always behind me everytime everybody bugging me with "when you'll married" questions ... he always give the very best advise in this world ... he's my hero ... love you always dad

NBA 2004 CHAMPIONSHIP GOES BACK TO DETROIT

Go Pistons !!!
FINALLY !!!! I go with Detroit Pistons since the final was start.... well... I feel sorry for Karl Malone & Gary Payton...

Without a superstar among them and without being given much of a chance, the Detroit Pistons humiliated the Los Angeles Lakers 100-87 Tuesday night in Game 5 of the NBA finals for their first title in 14 years.

With finals MVP Chauncey Billups and Ben Wallace leading the way, the Pistons were at their very best in the clincher, defeating Shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant and the rest of the Lakers in every facet of the game. It was both methodical and shocking the way they pulled ahead and pulled away for one of the biggest surprises in NBA finals history.

Wallace took a big step toward becoming a superstar with an 18-point, 22-rebound effort that helped Detroit become the first Eastern Conference team to win the title since the Michael Jordan-led Chicago Bulls in 1998.

Equally important was 14 points from Billups, the best guard on the floor throughout the series, 21 from Richard Hamilton and 17 from Tayshaun Prince.

Game 5 was so lopsided that Lakers owner Jerry Buss, carrying his jacket and accompanied by an entourage, headed for the exit before the third quarter was over. By the time the last timeout rolled around, fans were already being urged to keep their celebrations under control.

As the final buzzer sounded and confetti began dropping, Pistons coach Larry Brown stoically walked to midcourt and received an affectionate handshake and warm smile from Lakers coach Phil Jackson and a hug from Bryant.

Many fans at The Palace stood through the final several minutes, savoring every moment they had waited for since the Bad Boys of 1989 and '90 won back-to-back titles.

The game steadily got away from the Lakers from the second quarter on, unraveling completely over the latter part of the third quarter when it became clear they weren't going to make a game of it.

On one especially telling sequence, Bryant missed a 3-pointer, got his own rebound but missed on a drive, and Wallace soared high above everyone to snare his 14th rebound. Bryant was then called for a blocking foul as Billups brought the ball upcourt, and an "M-V-P" chant greeted the point guard as he went to the line and made it 80-59.

For good measure, Bryant missed a layup just moments later, and the quarter ended with Detroit ahead by 23 and the Lakers shuffling off the court a thoroughly defeated team.

Lindsey Hunter began the fourth quarter by stealing the ball from Bryant, who could manage only a grimace and didn't even give chase as Hunter took it in for a breakaway. It was a Pistons party the rest of the way, the culmination of one of the greatest and unexpected success stories in NBA annals.

Even before the series, the Pistons promised they were prepared to shock the world. What they lacked in star power they made up for in cohesiveness and determination -- two factors that Detroit displayed in abundance throughout the finals while executing their coach's mantra to "play the right way."

For Billups, a castoff in five NBA cities before he landed in Detroit, that meant taking advantage of his mismatch against Gary Payton and making the key baskets that demoralized the Lakers through all five games.

For Rasheed Wallace, it meant keeping relatively quiet when the officials whistled him for fouls and his coach sat him on the bench for extended periods because of foul trouble.

For Prince, it meant keeping one of his long arms in Bryant's face whenever possible and justifying the faith team architect Joe Dumars showed in him a year ago when he passed on Carmelo Anthony with the second pick in the draft.

For Ben Wallace, it was about pounding the boards relentlessly and showing a level of effort O'Neal could only envy. For Richard Hamilton, it was proving how big of a mistake Jordan made two years ago when he dealt him from Washington in exchange for Jerry Stackhouse.

And collectively for the Pistons, it was about not being afraid as previous Eastern Conference opponents had been when confronted with the task of taking on the big, bad Lakers.

THEY WAY YOU KISS ....

[Pisces] <---- CHa ----

[Virgo]
Warga Virgo memiliki gaya berciuman yang halus, lembut, rapi,sampai-sampai sang pasangan pun bakal terkesima dibuatnya.

[Libra]
Gaya berciuman warga Libra konon kurang hangat!

PHILIPPIANS 4:4-9

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication,
with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard
your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble,
whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things
are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue,
and if there is anything praiseworthy -- meditate on these things.

The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me,
these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

SUMMARY OF THIS WEEK

Last Thursday Nite, I went to my very best friends (Francis & Sonny) commencement's from Catholic Theological Union (CTU) {www.ctu.edu}. They both graduated as Master of Divinity "World Mission Concentration". I'm so happy for both of you... *mwah mwah* I got a little drunk because of those goddam wines... hehehehe well... I was celebrating !!!

I stayed late that nite, and on friday... I watched "HARRY POTTER and THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN" click here yg menurut gua ceritanya banyak di potong dimana2 ... bener2 ga selengkap buku nya... oh well... they make it too short tho' ... but of course if they make it as long as the book it'll be 6 hours (or maybe more) movie then... hehehehehe click here for games

This below will be my comments about the movie:

1. Expecto Patronum ... not as damned as my own imagination ... but at least i've got my visualitation from them... even mine is better!!!
2. The new broom "Firebolt" aint discuss alot, nor the Quidditch game
3. Prof. Dumbledore looks shorter?
4. Harry also looks short *sigh*
5. The Dementors looks ugly not scary
6. Hogwart still the same ... dark, old & moving stairs
7. Ron still acts dumb-face all the movie
8. Marauder's map so cool !!! I wish I've one :=)
9. The Night Bus nya as good as my imagination
10. Scabber is a nasty thing alive

Eh btw... kok gue baru sadar skrg.... both pictures above rada mirip jg setting-an nya yah??!! hehehahahah I'm Hermione??? hahahahahahahaha
